Happy lesbian Beth Ditto said she once puked all over a group of boys on a boat for making lesbo remarks toward her. She said she put her finger down her throat and purposely made herself puke on them.

She said,"Looking back, it might not have been the most hygienic or healthy approach, but I considered it a political tactic more than revenge per se, and it certainly was very, very effective!"

"I'd still say the question - to puke, or not to puke - was up for debate, but it did give me a certain sense of relief, and I can't say I've ever regretted it."

Beth Says Paris is a Joke

Gossip star Beth Ditto has slammed Paris Hilton's plans to visit Rwanda to raise awareness of poverty.

The singer told Metro: "I'd love to see that. Are you sure it's not going to be a reality TV show? I'm sure she's really doing it from the kindness of her heart."

Although Hilton later announced that her aid trip to the African nation will be filmed for a reality TV program, she insisted that it was not a publicity stunt.

Ditto cheered when Hilton was sentenced to 23 days in jail earlier this year, saying she laughed "until she cried".

Beth Ditto Wants To Ban Size Zero

Beth Ditto has launched a campaign to prevent clothes from being labeled "size zero".

The curvaceous rocker insisted that the US clothing size - the equivalent of a UK size four - encourages women to aspire to be "nothing".

She told Radio 1's Sunday Surgery: "It’s so obvious but so deep about our culture and what (it) says about women and their worth in their world (that) to be a size zero... is your ultimate goal.

"The biggest thing in your world is to be a nothing. That is so intense… how about getting rid of zero at all and putting a number onto it instead, even if it’s a small number?"

Ditto also believes drugs wreck an artist's creativity rather than enhance it.

She added: "I just don't think drugs are cool. I've seen too many people destroy their creativity and their lives and I have no desire to be one of them."

The Gossip got the huge crowd dancing today at The Carling Weekend Festival. Their lead singer, Beth Ditto, was wearing a sparkly pink and purple dress and hat combo, and one minute into the set hitched up the dress around her waist to reveal her black underwear and tanned, shapely legs.

Before playing 'Jason's Basement', Ditto sang the lines from Haddaway's 'What Is Love (Baby Don't Hurt Me No More)', changing the lyric to, "When is lunch? Baby I'm hungry".

Later in the set, after playing 'Listen Up', Ditto sang lines from 'Rehab' by Amy Winehouse.

The voluptuous singer from The Gossip, Beth Ditto, has told the media that she would love to record a duet with buddy Kate Moss. The pair went clubbing together in the US a few months ago and she would love to see what they come up with in a studio. "We sang a lot that night - I'd consider doing a duet with her if the song was right," she said. This isn't the first time Kate has exercised her lungs, she lent her voice to a Primal Scream song called Some Velvet Morning. Perhaps Kate should share some fashion advice for the loud and proud singer; though one thing Beth doesn’t want to have much to do with is Pete Doherty, saying, "I'm really scared of her boyfriend."
