Creepy Copperfield Tricked Women Into Sex

TMZ has obtained portions of a secret document from David Copperfield's shows, outlining in extreme detail how the magician's assistants were supposed to rope in the women that David found attractive -- and hold their boyfriends and husbands at bay.

The document, titled "Show Participation," requires the people who work David's shows to arm themselves with clipboards, a Polaroid camera, a digital camera, brochures of David's islands in the Bahamas and "Blank photos of David (if one of the girls is a scorpion)." "Scorpion" refers to women David brings onstage as part of his act.

The document describes how the assistants need to be heads-up for attractive women whom David can meet backstage after the performance. We're told the plan is to keep boyfriends and husband in the arena, adding "from time to time, boyfriends and husbands will give us a hard time and refuse to stay. If that is the case, try your best to get them to stay and refer to the "What to Say" sheet for help."

And it gets creepier.

According to the document, "On occasion David will have you pull in both scorpions even if he is only interested in one of them, just for comfort."

But wait -- it gets worse. The assistants are told to sell the women before David arrives backstage. They're supposed to say: "Do you know that David has recently bought some islands in the Bahamas? Well they are BEAUTIFUL and we are doing a lot of projects for these islands: Ads, TV, Radio and many other promotions. So we like to keep in touch with you in case there is a job in the future we think you would be interested in."

According to the document, the women are then supposed to fill out a questionnaire "Where are you from... What hotel are you staying in. How long are you in town. Who did you come to the show with? Husband? Boyfriend? Friend?"

And then there's the threatening letter David's lawyer sent to David's employees after the investigation was revealed - telling them they had a duty never to talk about what David was really doing at his show. The plot thickens.

Creepy Copperfield Thinks Sex With Him Is An "Interesting Opportunity"

David Copperfield's been using his Vegas show not just to amaze and mystify, but to pick up chicks! And now TMZ has a voicemail from David himself, inviting one of the women attendees to his island in the Bahamas.

A female audience member at one of the magician's Las Vegas shows supplied TMZ with one of her answering machine messages, where Copperfield says he's "got a very interesting opportunity for you ... if you're available to come to the island ... we'll just have some fun."

TMZ also interviewed another woman at the same show, who said Copperfield invited her and a friend to the Bahamas as well -- but she decided it would be too "creepy" to go.

Things Not Looking Good For Copperfield

I need to say something here first. This woman did go to his isolated compound on an island late at night. She did not know him. While I'm not advocating rape, the rape is over with. She can't be "unraped." So why not just take the two million in cash? I know I would!

Further details are emerging about those rape allegations against sorcerer David Copperfield. The word is that the 2 million dollars the Feds seized from his magic storehouse might have been payoff money. Sources are saying that Copperfield was offering the alleged victim, an unidentified woman from Seattle, the money to quiet down and not press any charges. Hush money! It doesn't paint a pleasant picture. The victim reported that Copperfield invited her to a party at his compound in the Bahamas. When she got there, she discovered it was a party of two. *shiver*

"She got nervous and wanted to go home right away, but David convinced her to stay, saying she could leave the next day if she really wanted to," the friend claims.

That night, Copperfield forced himself on the woman, holding her arms "down on the bed, leaving her with terrible bruises," the friend charges.

"She told me she fought back," the friend says. "But she said that just seemed to turn him on more."

"After Copperfield had finished with her and left to clean off, the young woman had the presence of mind to use her cell phone to take photos of the crime scene," according to the tab. "In order to preserve physical evidence, she says she didn't shower. The next day, she went back home to Seattle, where her mother met her at the airport."


The victim reportedly also went straight to a medical center, where a rape kit was taken. The FBI reportedly used the woman in a sting operation on Copperfield, and had her e-mail him and arrange to meet in Vegas.

The magician owns his own private piece of paradise there. The case has now been turned over to the FBI which prompted the search of his Vegas warehouse.

Copperfield's Musha Cay has played host to billionaires like Bill Gates and Oprah Winfrey as well as actor Steve Martin, all of whom may have been lured in by Copperfield's odd claim that the literal Fountain of Youth exists on the island. A chance at eternal life will cost you though, as the island rents for up to $400,000 a day with a full-time staff. Copperfield bought the island for $45.5 million, and claims that it is one of the most luxurious private islands in the world.

Not everyone agrees! According to one visitor, the living quarters on the island can be very cold and the service is LAME. During his stay he was refused a blanket and then served "gourmet" processed treats like Doritos, Pringles, and Cracker Barrel cheese.

David Copperfield a RAPIST?!

FOX News Channel is reporting that a Seattle woman is alleging magician David Copperfield raped her.

The woman told Seattle police the magician raped her while she was in the Bahamas. Because the alleged incident happened abroad and the woman did not report it until she returned to the United States, Seattle authorities turned over the case to the FBI.

Magician David Copperfield Under F.B.I. Investigation

TMZ is reporting that Magician David Copperfield is being investigated by the FBI.

Authorities won't comment about the investigation, but did confirm that agents raided Copperfield's personal belongings Wednesday night. We're told agents searched a warehouse in Las Vegas where Copperfield stores items for his show, seizing two million dollars in cash and a computer.
