She’s conquered the world of pop culture, and now Madonna is putting her time and energy into overcoming the heartbreak and tragedy experienced by orphaned children in Malawi.
Madonna hosted a celebrity-rich event on the lawns of the United Nations in New York City last night, and raised $3.7 million for two charities - Raising Malawi and Unicef.

For the second night in a row, J. Lo was out on the town, this time, attending the charity bash with Tiny Tom and his towering robot bride Katie. Also on hand were Gwyneth Paltrow, who wore a ridiculous dress with a stain on it, and Demi and Ashton. Demi looked like Morticia Adams from the Adams Family, Ashton appeared overjoyed to be at the prestigious event.
