Suddenly it doesn't matter so much whether David Copperfield is gay or straight. He's now being accused of raping a Seattle woman in the Bahamas, Fox News reports. The magician owns his own private piece of paradise there. The case has now been turned over to the FBI which prompted the search of his Vegas warehouse.
Copperfield's Musha Cay has played host to billionaires like Bill Gates and Oprah Winfrey as well as actor Steve Martin, all of whom may have been lured in by Copperfield's odd claim that the literal Fountain of Youth exists on the island. A chance at eternal life will cost you though, as the island rents for up to $400,000 a day with a full-time staff. Copperfield bought the island for $45.5 million, and claims that it is one of the most luxurious private islands in the world.
Not everyone agrees! According to one visitor, the living quarters on the island can be very cold and the service is LAME. During his stay he was refused a blanket and then served "gourmet" processed treats like Doritos, Pringles, and Cracker Barrel cheese.
