The LA Times reports that Britney Spears was released from the psych ward of UCLA Medical Center today. She checked in almost a week ago. A source said Brit is headed home before seeking additional treatment.
Brit was able to slip out with the help of her private security.
TMZ reports that Britney is back at home. UCLA doctors decided she didn't pose a threat to herself or anyone else, so they allowed her to leave. She was apparently expected to be released before the 14-day extension, because she was stable and working with them. Her dad and the lawyer are still conservators. They set that in place before she was released, so they could control her environment outside of the hospital. I hope she is on her way to Kentwood, but I seriously doubt it. I hope someone, everyone, keeps that freak, Sam away from her, or she won't have a chance.
