Mother of the Year, Lynne Spears, has flown to Britney's side after yet another of Britney's public breakdowns late last night.
Lynne, who had not spoken to her daughter for several months, is reportedly staging an intervention to save Britney's life. Her rescue mission came after a hysterical Britney was pictured sitting barefoot outside her LA home as she sobbed on the pavement.
Last night's drama started after Britney and Lutfi reportedly fell out over her relationship with boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, prompting the singer to call Ghalib for help. Sam was trying to get her to see her mother, as well as a psychologist. And Lufti didn’t want her to see her boyfriend either.
She stormed out of Sam’s car in tears and sat down outside her gated home sobbing. Eventually she hopped in a strange paparazzo’s car and drove into the gates of her home. Adnan tried to get in as well, but was unsuccessful.
As she sat on the edge of a garden bed, photographers asked her if she was OK.
Britney responded: "I'm fine. I'm sitting for once and having a nice time with my dog."
Adnan Ghalib was denied entry to the premises as Lutfi warned security not to let him in, turning Britney's mobile phones off to ensure he could not reach her.
Then, distraught and barefoot Brit waited for Adnan after calling him for help. "Britney and Sam drove up to the gate of her house when she suddenly jumped out of the car crying. Adnan then got a frantic call from a hysterical Brit, pleading with him 'Can you come pick me up?'"
Britney, 26, later left with a strange paparazzo before meeting up with Ghalib on the street as her father, Jamie Spears, and police arrived on the scene. Around 9:07pm, Brit’s father showed up . He sat outside the gates for a few minutes, and finally went inside. Lynne arrived soon thereafter to join them.
Lutfi reportedly started the argument over Ghalib, warning Britney that he was a bad influence on the star.
The feud between Ghalib and Lutfi has been raging for weeks. "They hate each other," says a source, adding: "Sam doesn't think Adnan is good enough for Britney and Adnan hates the control Sam has on her. Britney's caught in the middle."
For months, the star has been tipping off photographers on her whereabouts - in part for her own amusement but also, to make money.
"Sam has always given tips to X-17 while Adnan obviously wants everything going through Finalpixx," explains an insider. "These two guys are making money off Britney but she's too blind to see it. It's tragic that her life has come down to this." At 9:30pm Britney left her home, and was spotted driving around Los Angeles with Adnan. During their travels, they ended up getting a flat tire, before returning to Spears’ home just after 11pm.
But the night didn’t end there… around 1:30 this morning, Britney, Lynne, and Sam were spotted at Longs Drug store. After grabbing a few items, they left in an SUV, heading back to Spears’ home.
