Wesley Snipes could face up to three years in jail after he was found guilty yesterday of failing to file tax returns.
His lawyers claimed he was waiting for advice from tax officials over the returns.
Snipes was found guilty in Ocala, Florida, of three misdemeanors.
He will be sentenced after officials decide what tax he owes.
