I can't believe this is really happening, but Ashlee Simpson, the unequally talented sister of Jessica, is getting ready to film the pilot for her new talk show. Execs wanted her to pick a co-host, but when she suggested Jessica, they were completely against the idea. No one wants Creepy Joe involved, and for some reason, he has no control over this show, cleverly titled... are you ready? The Ashlee Simpson Show. Instead, it was decided that a monkey named Kate would take the acne spoke models' place as co-host. Producers wanted a quirky show, and felt confident in Kate the monkey, so looks like she's ready to roll. Maybe if Jessica is lucky she could develop acne again to hold on to that gig.
