Poor Jenny from the block. Her career never really recovered from the Bennifer debacle. Marc came along when she was in a tailspin and gave her stability, happiness, even the children she's always wanted, but she's kept on a very tight leash now. Even before her pregnancy, Marc has rarely let Jennifer stray more than a few steps away, and insists on being in all of her publicity shots. Once a pap favorite, Jennifer now bows her head meekly and follows his lead.
After the disastrous Bordertown was released in 2006 Jennifer's film prospects seemed to be dismal, but she talked hubby Marc into doing El Cantante, whose horrible script just didn't click with viewers and alienated those who knew and loved Hector Lavoe.
Her once sizzling music career has cooled off, too. Amidst charges that she's costing her label more than she's earning for them ("The woman requires everything short of flying monkeys to get on a stage.”), JLo might have to jump ship if she wants to make new music. Sadly, the world may never rejoice in that weak little voice again, as Lopez is said to be contemplating retirement. She'll probably become a full-time Scientology recruiter/defender.
